Dessert Theatre Reminders

Our dessert theater is fast approaching and the students still have a lot to do in order to be ready for the big performance!  On Thursday, May 10^th, the students will be doing 2 presentations with one being directly after recess (10:35 am) and the other at 7:30 pm.  Please notice the time change on the evening performance; this had to be done to allow for some of the actors to take part in a very important football game earlier in the evening. 

Ticket money is due tomorrow to allow for a seating plan to be made.  Students who do not turn their tickets in by that time run the risk of sitting in the back of the gym or, even worse, not having seating arrangements at all.  There are also a large percentage of students who have not handed in their dessert forms yet.  They were due over a week ago so they need to be in by tomorrow if you have not done so yet.  This is important because if we do not have enough desserts, ice-tea or coffee, other arrangements will have to be made.

Due to a shortage of storage space, please do not bring desserts in before May 10^th.  On May 10^th, students are able to bring them in either in the morning or at lunch.  If you are bringing in a dessert that needs to be cut, please cut each dessert into approximately 12 pieces.  Coffee and Ice-tea can be brought in anytime.  Don’t worry about plates, glasses or cutlery.

Please remember that the grade 8 after-farewell committee will be selling raffle tickets on gift baskets and 50/50 so try to bring some spare change…who know?  You might win.  Last year, the 50/50 was well over a $100 so it can make a great evening even better!   If you are able to come in early and assist with getting the desserts and refreshments ready, please contact me at cattonc@spsd.sk.ca or 683-7210.  Also, if you have any questions/concerns, please feel free to contact me
