For the last 5 years, the grade 8 class has done a spring dessert theatre to raise money for year end trips, and the all important, grade 8 farewell. This year, the dessert theatre will take place on Wednesday, April 20th at 7 pm in the large gym. Other years, the mood of the plays have been more serious, but this year, because of the characters we have in grade 8, the mood of the play will be more light hearted. This is why it is very important that students must know ALL their lines since actions will play an as important part as the dialogue and we must have a large chunk of time to rehearse.
Also, there will be a note sent out on Monday that outlines the desserts that we will need volunteers to make for the dessert theatre. I will attach 2 dessert recipes that we have used in the past so it makes the process a lot easier. Tickets for the dessert theatre will be $6.00 and we ask that you sell as many as you can since all the proceeds go right back to our class funds.
