HERITAGE FAIR SPEECH OUTLINE
1. Introduce self and topic. Hello my name is and my topic is…..
2. Describe why you selected your topic….one to two reasons.
3. Describe three items you found most interesting about your topic, keying on information you never knew about your topic. Explain why you found at least one of those items so interesting. Is there something more you would like to learn about that item?
4. Explain your personal and/or Canadian historical connection to your topic.
5. Present an “I wonder” statement…could be related to something you already mentioned or something new.
6. The concluding sentence is thanking the judge for listening to your speech and for being a part of our school heritage fair event.
