Grammar	Indentation, Periods, commas, spelling mistakes and capital letter missing or improperly used. Content (clarity)	Information is poorly written & inaccurate or incomplete.	Some Information is provided, but is limited or inaccurate.	Information is well written and interesting to read.	Information is accurate and complete is creatively written and is cleverly presented.
Length	Student wrote less than 3 sentences.	Student wrote 3 sentences	Student wrote 4-5 sentences.	Student wrote 5-7 sentences=1 paragraph.
Comprehension	1-2 Sentences, difficult to read and understand.	3 Sentences are clear and easier to understand.	4-5 Sentences  are clear and easier to understand.	5-7 or more Every sentence has  clarity and are easier to understand.
Feeling (expression)	The student included no feelings.	. The student attempted to write feelings.	The student wrote emotions felt, but did not include any supporting evidence	The student showed feeling and emotion. Portrayed a character convincingly.
